If your diary doesn't arrive in time for the Thursday start of the Radio
Survey, you can make sure that your listening counts. Just make sure that
each person in your household who is 12 years of age or older follows
these simple steps:
- On a sheet of paper, using the handy form below as an example, jot
down the following information every time you hear a radio:
- The day of the week (for example, Thursday)
- The time that you start listening, including whether it's before
noon (A.M.) or after noon (P.M.)
- The time that you stop listening
- What you are listening to (the call letters, dial setting, or
station name). If you don't know, you can simply use the program
name. If you listen over the Internet or to a satellite radio
service, please include the station name or channel number.
- Where you listened (at home, in a car, at work, or some other
place)
If you don't hear a radio for a whole day, make a note of that,
too.
- When your diary arrives, transfer the information that you have written
down into your diary. (You may also choose to simply attach the pages
with your diary when you return it.)
This way, you can make sure that you count in the Radio Ratings!
